My debut album (my baby) is coming out Friday, September 25th so I figured it called for a celebration. A lot of you may or may not know this but I've been working indirectly on this album for about 7 years. It's been the culmination of so much self-discovery, growing, maturing, and coming into my own. It's a window into my soul, truly.
Friday, September 25th I invite you to attend the AVENUES: Album Release Show & Exhibition.
I wanted to mark the occasion with something special, something that felt more than just an album release show. I want to take my friends on a walk through the avenues of my life, and to invite you to reflect on the twists and turns that you've taken through the past 7 years. It's going to be a night of music, art and celebration. The last 7 years have been nuts for the whole world with a whole lot of ups and downs. But we're here and lived to tell the tale - so let's enjoy it.
For about 2 years I had my production room in my friend Mai's photography studio. This beautiful space, called XUUX Artists, was my second home. I wrote songs, recorded, laughed, cried, and processed a lot in that studio. I made some of this album there, and its forever a part of my story. It felt only right to celebrate this release in the space where it was formed.
I'd love for you to be there. Tickets are very limited as the space can only hold about 70 people. So don't wait.
It's going to be special, and I can't wait to share with you what we have planned.
